Hey! We’re Ticha and Jessica! Here’s a little sneak peek into who we are, and why we do what we do. We can’t wait to connect and to be a part of your best and brightest moments!
How We Met + What We Love
We have been together for 4+ years and are now newlyweds! We met at Liberty University and quickly became friends, then best friends, and the rest is history. When we aren’t documenting our couples, we are usually going on adventures, Jeep campouts, playing cards + board games, spending time with family, bingeing our favorite tv shows, or taking classic film photos at one Delaware state park or another. We have a life together that we love and a business that allows us to meet couples, and learn about the things they enjoy together.
What sets us apart
We love connecting with couples, getting to know them and documenting some of the best and most important moments in their lives. We do capture the standard portraits and poses, but most of time, the best photos we deliver are the candid moments between poses, when our couples are just having fun together oblivious of our presence. We capture them, truly. These are our favorite moments to deliver.
The best part of our job is giving couples the opportunity to feel what we feel when we are looking through our old family photos and watching home videos, having the chance to reminisce on memories that would otherwise be forgotten. That is what makes our job worth doing.
Why we love photography
Jessica
My love for photography started at a very young age. My mom and dad always had cameras in their hands. My dad captured the best home videos of our family, my mom took so many film photos that we had to get negatives developed nearly every week. Suffice to say, photography and videography has always held a special place in my heart. When memories fade, I can always look back on those moments, and enjoy them as if they happened yesterday.
Ticha
My journey with photography started when I was around 16 years old. My best friend, and I would go on hikes through the woods and take long walks on hidden trails, looking for things worth photographing. From the moment I picked up my first camera, my passion for photography has been ongoing. I am always researching and exploring new ways to advance and upgrade my camera collection. My love for photography has been a constant, so it is pretty special that Jess and I were able to make a career of it.
